Meet the new Belter 14. Designed for confident city and urban riding, the Belter 14 features an updated geometry for enhanced stability and responsive handling. The aluminium frameset with sliding dropouts supports a low-maintenance 8mm belt drivetrain, while sealed bearing wheels and Kenda Aptor 1.75″ tires ensure a smooth, reliable ride. Reduced-diameter grips and kid-optimized gear ratios provide comfort and control for growing hands and legs—perfect for young urban explorers.

• A no rust, no fuss carbon drive train: The reliable belt drive is just a brilliant piece of kit. It replaces the traditional steel chain and cassette with a robust, stretch resistant, and best of all completely grease-free drivetrain. It’s easy to clean, requires almost no maintenance and is good for 20’000km. Paired with a top-tier hyperglide freehub and aluminium sprockets, you get peak performance from a bike that’s always ready to ride.
• Super lightweight aluminium, beautifully crafted to last for years: We use 6061-grade aluminium in our bikes. It’s fantastic material. Strong yet light, weatherproof and super robust. It’s also a responsive material transferring more power from the pedals to the wheels. In real terms, this means it’s easier to pedal further for longer helping little ones practise their newly acquired skills for longer before fatigue kicks in.
• Geometry to get kids moving: With kid-friendly geometry, this bike prioritises comfort and control, so young riders avoid quick-tired legs, sore arms, and awkward descents. We’ve given the Belter 14 short rear stays for manoeuvrability. A relaxed head angle to safely roll over bumps and a precisely chosen handlebar position, high enough to be comfortable but low enough to optimise uphill pedal efficiency.
• Little levers, big stopping power: The Belter 14 features powerful, age specific Tektro V brakes with ultra short reach levers and light-pull actuation, making braking easy even for the smallest hands. Braking feedback is smooth and responsive, helping little ones learn what smooth stopping feels like, right from the start. The all-aluminium lever construction ensures the brakes aren’t at risk should the bike be dropped to the ground.
• Wheels that reset expectations: The Belter wheelset is built for sustained performance, helping little legs travel further and cope with more obstacles over and again. We were the first bike company to bring cartridge bearings and cassette hubs to any kids bike. And with the game changing impact our latest 4 bearing model has had on weight, friction and durability, we had no choice but to roll it out, even on our 14” bikes – after all, it’s the smallest riders that need the most support. Coupled with super light weight aluminium rims and cartridge bearing throughout, you can look forward to more of the riding you love, and less of the maintenance you don’t.
• Tyres that won’t throw them off track: The Belter 14 runs Kenda Aptor 1.75”, fast rolling tyres as standard, so that developing riding skills is made easier, safer and more enjoyable than the 1.5″ tyres typically found on kids bikes. Their extra volume and grip provide added control over the lumps and bumps and give the cushioning that makes riding more enjoyable. 1.75” tyres are also much more stable, especially in tricky conditions. With a bike that is more stable, you can shorten the rear triangle, and that improves handling and manoeuvrability making the bike more capable still.
• Touchpoints that elevate control: Every one of The Belter’s touchpoints, be that the bars, saddle, pedals or grips has been anatomically designed to properly fit and function for super small riders. Reduced diameter gripping area on the bars gives improved grip and control inspiring the rider with more confidence.
